    Default Russia Air Safety...

Dear oh dear, this has to be one of the hardest hitting graphics in the media today.

Standards really are shocking in Russian Aviation. I guess their requirement to keep themselves to themselves and do it their way does cause many issues.

Absolutely shocking. Particularly when it's down to poor training and servicing. So avoidable

I know eastern countries safety records aren't as good as ours but this graphic is shocking. Will have a bit more of a read into this to see if anything is being done about it.

    I don't understand really.

I guess because of the political nature of the countries concerned, parts are still behind modern times, still trying to catch up from conflicts in the past.

I guess this isolation and lack of up to date methods and technology means risks are greater when faced with the demands of the day. Countries who are less well off will always try to compete with larger nations fleets and thus sometimes push the boundaries too far. I think its also a bit of "keeping it close to our chest" where they ignore others and go forward believing their methods are the best.

I for one would rather nick an aircraft and fly myself back rather than take some Tupolev rusty bird around Russia lol.

Amazing. They probably just shrugged it off and got on with their day

....like the landing gear just shrugged off the shrubs on the threshold.
