Default Loss of Class 1 Medical Insurance

Does anybody have a specific life insurance covering loss of class one? I am looking for one at the moment but so far unsuccessful. I had heard of one in the past but can't find out where.

I've just figured if anything happens to me now then I will be in heaps and heaps of uncontrollable debt should I not be able to get an airline pilot job!

    Cheers

    Theres quite a few about:

Traffords Pleasurecraft, Aircraft & Travel Insurance

I can't comment on the loss of licence insurance but I have used Traffords for other insurance policies before and found them competitive.

Thanks for your fast response there Mcgoo, I will definatly get it sorted with them, thats the first one I've come across. Are you with them now / what do you have covering your life or the possibilities that one day you might lose your medical?

I'm interested in knowing which Insurance Companies you chaps chose to go with for cover having gained your PPL?

I know there are a couple that deal in in Pilot cover, just trying to get an idea on the best price.

I sent off an enquiry / quote form with the link Mcgoo suggested but they have yet to come back to me so I think a phonecall will be neccessary soon. I heard a rumor somewhere that you need to actually be in a flying job for loss of class 1 cover?

Pretty stupid though considering your Class 1 is essential in getting a flying job in the first place? Can't work as a pilot without it so...
