    You might be one step ahead of me here but I was just sent this link in my flying clubs newsletter of a free interactive rt guide from the caa

    I remember how apprehensive i was using the radio as a student and wish it was around back then!

    Hi Dan,

    I welcome comment on this but...

    On page 14 of this document, the controller reads "nine eight eight millibars"? Surely this is an error as it should be "niner eight eight millibars"? This differs between the two types in this document and i'm just wondering if thats considered sloppy RT? Personally I would say "niner"

    Being picky it should read niner, your expected to say niner anyway despite most professionals not even bothering with it!

    I'll be good and use niner - gonna say it over and over so it doesn't sound wrong in the first place!
