    Default R/T Initial Calls...

    Hi all,

At my airfield the initial call for example is...

Me - "Halfpenny Green Information, G-CEJV, Flightline, Request Airfield Information and Taxi"

What kind of information will I get in reply, only the following I can remember at the moment; QNH, Readability, Runway in Use, Taxi Instructions to the Hold. Does this sound like everything the Controller would pass typically?

Reply usually as you've just said:

    -Your callsign
    -Readability
    -Taxi instructions
    -Runway in use
    -QNH/QFE

If controlled then you would say the ATIS code first with the QNH so all they would reply with is the taxi instructions and maybe even a sqawk code if applicable

You might even get a happy "Good day" in there if your lucky

    Cheers Hotdog ,

But the "Good Day" sounds like a New Zealand / Australia thing! haha. 8o)
