Thread: Any1 done any flying lately

Hope every1 is well. i have chosen my flying school and had my first trial flight. I have chosen aero's down at wellsbourne. i had my trial flight there and got on well with the instuctor and for the first lesson he let me do quite a lot with the aircraft from taxi to climb to turning. i was quite surprised. Anyway hows every1 else doing with there flying any one done much recently. im actually saving at the mo for my starter pack with aero,s at a cost of around £680 inc first 5 hours,membership and logbook does that sound good valve for money?

I am due to have six lessons from 14th-16th September to do some catching up! I am flying out of EGBO (Halfpenny Green) at current.

The package sounds good to me! Great value for money!

At the moment I am paying £165 plus £10 landing fee - A premium to fly the Cirrus SR20 and keep my instructor!

take it you having 2 lessons a day. how far have you got with you flight training? what are you long term ambitions. i think the hoourly rate down at wellsbourne is approx £150 free landing fee's hopefully ill fly up to half penny green during my training
