Thanks Hotdog! Still hard scraping the money together but where there's a will...

Its BBQ and Live Music night down at Take Flight this evening, so will be nice to sit out and have a burger on the apron I have come to know so well!

Congratulations on your solo Chris. Hopefully this cracking weather of late will last and there will actually be a summer season this year! Plenty of opportunities for other flights!

    Thanks matey!

Hope you never have to go solo on the heavy metal! 8o)

Looking forward to some great flights out and about, making the most of the weather for nav!

Another great lesson today, started on Navigation finally.

Did a 45min square from EGBW, Chipping Warden, Barford St. John, Chipping Campden and then back to EGBW again.

Wx wasn't too bad, slight wind, just enough to see what happens to the aircraft when wind affects the track and how to correct.

I elected to fly a flapless approach just to add a bit of a test at the end which turned out "really nice" (my FI's words).

All in all a good days flying and starting to see how rewarding it can be to get all over the place very quickly.
